Minimum Requirements and Recommendations

The Essentials

  • A PC (always a good start)
  • Bags of memory (512Mb minimum recommendation)
  • Hard Drive that can store the amount of MP3 albums you want on it
  • Windows (XP or 2000) - Currently NOT available for ME or 98 users!
  • Sound Card & Speakers
  • CD or DVD Drive capable of audio extraction
  • Some of your own non-copy protected CD's

  • CD or DVD Drive capable of audio extraction
  • Scanner (Optional) for scanning the album covers into the Jukebox if no covers could be retrieved from the internet automatically


NB. You will need some other hardware items if building it into a cabinet but fortunately these are relatively cheap are are not difficult to implement if you can do basic carpentry. Please checkout the 'Building' link to find out more.
